A couple of months after Nokia updated their Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 windows phones to Portico update, it looks like the Finnish mobile maker is prepping to roll out new software updates for these devices, Nokia Developer blog has confirmed that the company is now rolling out new software updates for the Lumia 920, Lumia 820, and Lumia 620 handsets.
The new software update will bump the OS version up to 1232.5957.1308.00xx on Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 phones. Both these phones will be getting performance and stability improvements for supported hardware. They will also get enhancements to the display during a call, in addition to the improved automatic display brightness adjustment.
Nokia is also showing some love to the low-end spec’d Lumia 620 phone with new OS version 1030.6407.1308.00xx, which brings improved touch behaviour, enhancements for system stability and camera picture quality. The update will also include the corrected camera exposure when the flash is used in bright lighting.
According to Nokia, the updates are being delivered to the aforementioned devices right now, while current users are expected to receive the software updates later. Nokia has failed to mention specific dates for the roll out of the updates. You can manually check for the updates by tapping Settings —> Phone Update.
