You might had already known that although Google and LG had prepared to launch their Nexus 4 flagship device last year on October 29 in New York City, it was canceled due to Hurricane Sandy. But it is worth notable that even though the device wasn’t launched at an event by the manufacturers officially, it is already available in different regions including the US, UK, Spain, France, Germany, Australia and Canada through the Google Play Store.
Now it seems that the Google Nexus 4 handset will be officially released at an event jointly hosted by Google and LG in Brazil. It is reported that invitations of the event have been sent out to Brazil media. The event will be held on March 27 at Google’s Headquarter in Sao Paolo with the presence of Hugo Barra, VP of Android.
There is no information when the Nexus 4 will be available for sale in the region as of now. Further information regarding the availability and pricing info will be revealed at the launch event.
The 4.7-inch device powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset with quad-core processor is recently available in Japan through Google Play Store. You can note that Google didn’t offer the device even on the busiest days, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. But starting this year, the Nexus 4 stock became abundant, thanks to LG’s effort to keep up with the unprecedented demand.
