Co-founder of Apple Inc., Steve Jobs presented the first iPhone on June 29, 2007 in San Francisco. It seems Apple is preparing to celebrate its sixth anniversary of the iPhone this year by releasing the next gen iPhone and iPad.
Report suggests that the upcoming iPhone 5S and the iPad 5 will be unveiled during a special event called ‘Original Passion, New Ideas’, on June 29, 2013. The exciting news was leaked by an Apple insider. These two devices will likely be unveiled by Tim Cook, CEO of Apple Inc. at the Special event.
The Apple iPhone 5S may sport Super HD screen and possibly a wireless charging capability. The remarkable feature of the device is it will likely support a new technology that would let it to be unlocked by the user’s fingerprint(or may not see below). We reported that the basic design of the next-gen iPhone will likely be equal to the existing iPhone 5 model but the iPhone 5S will be powered by more advanced chipset with an improved megapixel camera probably a 13MP camera.
Coming to the iPad 5, there’s no info regarding the specs yet. But, we already reported that a leaked picture showing a prototype back piece for the iPad 5 with a 9.7-inch display was spotted online and revealed that the image seems to be a prototype for an LTE version of the upcoming iPad 5.
The components of the next-gen iPhone will reportedly be available at the end of May for assembly so that Apple will be offering the device in the market in the third quarter of this year. Today, images of the components of the iPhone 5S were spotted online. The image shown above is the Home button of the iPhone 5S which seems very similar to the button of the existing iPhone 5 but it exists a flex cable used to connect it to the main logic board. So, the Apple iPhone 5S may not support a fingerprint sensor technology since the button is very similar to the iPhone 5 although it is rumored to support the technology.
Another leaked component is vibrator attached to the cable (shown above) and the cable seems to be more compact layout than the iPhone 5.
