Since early February of this year, we’ve been hearing about the existence of the yet to be announced Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus tablet. Today, we’ve got the first alleged renders and possible specifications of the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus tablet have popped up online. The folks over SamMobile have received a couple of render images of the device from a tipster.
As you can note in the images that the device is looking similar to the recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet. Home, Menu and Back buttons are all located on front bottom side of the device. You can also see the Samsung logo on top side of the device. According to the tipster, Samsung is planning to launch this device as Galaxy S Tab, instead of the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus branding.
The source has also been tipped with possible specs sheet of the device. Galaxy S Tab (aka Tab 3 Plus) will have a 10-inch display with 2560 by 1600 pixels of resolution and 300PPI, an Exynos 5410 Octa-Core processor with PowerSGX 544MP3 graphics processor, 2GB of RAM, and it ships with a powerful 9000mAh battery. There will be an 8MP camera on back side that can record 1080p HD videos, and 2MP front-facing shooter, 32GB/64GB onboard storage, and a microSD card slot to accept up to 64GB cars. The tablet will also feature IR blaster technology.
According to previous rumors, the model number of the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus will be referred as GT-P8200. The tablet’s Wi-Fi and LTE variants will sport the model numbers GT-P8210 and GT-P8220 respectively. We also heard that Galaxy Tab 3 Plus GT-P8200 will be heading to Europe in the coming months.
