BlackBerry’s BlackBerry Z10 smartphone is already available in different countries including the US and the UK. Now, the next turn for offering the smartphone is in Taiwan.
The BlackBerry Z10 has been officially announced for Taiwanese markets. The smartphone will be carried by Taiwan Mobile, one of the largest carriers in the region. The device will be available for free if the customer pays a fixed monthly charge of NT$2199 for two years contract agreement with the carrier.
BlackBerry Z10 smartphone runs BlackBerry 10 mobile OS out of the box, sporting a 4.2-inch display with 1280×768 pixels of resolution, powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, equipped with an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash on the back, 1080p HD video recording capability, a front-facing 2 megapixel shooter for forwarding video chats, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, micro USB 2.0, micro HDMI port, NFC, 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth version 4.0, 802.11 Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, a whole host of the BlackBerry OS services, access to BlackBerry World, 1,800mAh battery, and all the regular features of a BlackBerry phone.
The smartphone will also be available with a price tag of NT$19900 (US$666) without contract. The Canadian mobile manufacturer stated that Taiwan will become the world’s 40th and the 10th country in Asia to launch the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone.
