Earlie this year at Google I/O event, the company has unveiled a new Pixel tablet. Google has confirmed they won’t be releasing it until 2023. We haven’t heard enough about this tablet till now, even though some rumors have been floating around the internet about this tablet.
The developer Kuba Wojciechowski has spilled some beans regarding the Pixel tablet. Based on the evidence from shipping EVT (engineering validation test) units to India, we finally got some information about key specifications of this tablet. The device has passed EVT phase, that means the tablet must have paused the prototype stage and the developers team should have already started working on finalizing the device to make it ready for for open sale.
The Pixel tablet is now being in EVT phase and a bunch of the tablets have been shipped to India to get EVT certification. According to the listing, the size if the Pixel tablet was mentioned as 10.95-inches, which can be obviously rounded up to 11-inches. we can also see mentioning about two storage variants – 128GB and 256GB.
It appears to have Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and it has also been confirmed that the tablet supports USI 2.0 stylus from Google. A few months ago, The Universal Stylus Initiative (USI) recently certified a Google tablet codenamed “Tangor.” USI brings an advanced universal standard for active pen styluses to be able to operate on a wide range of touchscreen devices, including phones, tablets, and computers. Many of the best Chromebooks are banking on this same standard.
Google calls the first ever Pixel tablet as that “the perfect companion to your Pixel phone.” Let’s see Google has in store for us!
