Redmi is going to announce e new budget friendly Redmi A1+ smartphone in India on October 14th. This handset is an upgraded version of the Redmi A1 which was debuted in last month. It carries the similar specifications as that pf the A1 model, but it will be having a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Redmi has also put up a dedicated microsite for the upcoming Redmi A1+ handset. This was was launched in last month for the global markets. The Indian variant is being campaigned as ‘Made in India’ as well as ‘Made for India.’
The Redmi A1+ comes with a leather-texture rear design. It comes with the 6.52-inch HD+ LCD screen i=with 1600 x 720px of resolution, MediaTek Helio A22 12nm chipset, coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 512GB using microSD card slot. For photography, it has an 8MP rear camera along with a secondary depth sensor, and for selfies, there is 5MP front shooter, and it is backed up by a 5000mAh battery with support for 10W charging.
It is splash resistant with P2i coating and boots Android 12 Go Edition OS out of the box. Connectivity wise, it has dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm headset jack and more.
The Redmi A1+ will be offered in three colors: Black, Light Blue, and Light Green. There is no word yet on the pricing details.
