OnePlus’ next mid-range device in the Nord series is the OnePlus Nord N300. The manufacturer has been working on the successor of the Nord N200 since last year. Back in June 2022, a device called OnePlus Nord N300 with model number CPH2389 was listed on FCC database for getting confirmed to be working on n2, n25, n41, n66, n71 and n77 5G bands.
Based on the FCC listing, the OnePlus Nord C300 is believed to be the upcoming US-exclusive Nord smartphone. Courtesy of Spenser Blank, a OnePlus North America PR head confirmed to The Verge that OnePlus is aiming to launch the Nord N300 in November for the US markets. The spokesperson has also tipped some info on specifications of this device.
According to him, the budget-friendly OnePlus Nord N300 smartphone will be launched with a MediaTek processor under the hood. The Nord N300 will be capable of 33W charging. This change could be a resonable upgrade, as the previous generation OnePlus Nord N200 was capable of 18W charging only, whereas the falsgship model OnePlus 10T is capable of 125W charging,
Another notable reveal is that the N300 will feature a 90Hz refresh rate screen, and it will be launched with a sub-$300 price tag in the US and Canada. We’ll know more about detailed specifications, pricing and availability in the coming weeks.
