Shortly after the Europe version of the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G received One UI 5 three weeks ago, US version of the same phone also now started getting bump to the latest version of Samsung’s software, built on the latest Android 13. The carrier locked Galaxy A13 5G in the US also getting the update now.
Over in the US, the new Android 13 build is labeled A136USQU3CVK9, and it arrives with the November 2022 security patch level. The new build brings with it everything that Google packed into Android 13, along with the new app icons & illustrations, new animations and transition effects, enhanced scrolling speed, and improved contrast. It also brings more UI changes and relocates some UI elements such as the settings and power shortcuts within the Quick Settings menu
According to the folks over SamMobile, the update is currently rolling out on US Cellular’s network, while the other carriers are set to release the update in the coming days.
If you live in the US and haven’t received the Android 13 based One UI 5.0 stable update on your Galaxy A13 5G yet, you can check for it manually by heading to your phone’s Settings –> Software Update and Check your screens and look for the firmware version A136USQU3CVK9. If you can’t wait for the over-the-air update, you can manually download the new firmware file from here and flash it manually.
