If you’ve been waiting for the next OnePlus flagship phone to launch, then you don’t have much longer to wait. It has also been officially confirmed the branding of that device — it will be called the OnePlus 11.
OnePlus announced in a set of promotional posters that its latest flagship smartphone will launch in China on January 4th, 2023 at 2:30pm local time. A couple of weeks back, OnePlus confirmed about the global launch of OnePlus 11 at an event in India on February 7th. That means, the first official launch in China will happen about a month earlier than the global launch.
The marketing images revealed the phone will be sold in Sandstone Black and Green colours with matte finish. The phone is built with metal frame, curved screen with a punch-hole on the left for selfie camera and triple camera unit with Hasselblad branding on the rear. Rumored details of the camera department include a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP telephoto sensor., while the front side gets a 16MP shooter for selfies, face unlock, and video calling.
The teaser posters released by OnePlus China claims that the phone will be the leader in future performance in the market, and it will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, packed with 512GB UFS 4.0 storage and 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and there will also be a 12GB RAM model.
The OnePlus 11 was recently spotted getting certified by China’s TENAA platform. The listing on TENAA confirmed the device will have 6.7-inch AMOLED Quad HD+ screen with resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colors, and an under-screen fingerprint scanner. We also expect ColorOS 13 out of the box, which is based on Android 13.
We’ll see how the OnePlus 11 stacks against the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, which is one of the best Android phones scheduled to release in early February, next year. Check out some more promotional images of the OnePlus 11 below.
