The Nokia E6-00 is an upcoming handset, scheduling into Nokia’s business-centric line up. It is expected to unveil at next month’s Mobile World Congress 2011. Some specifications have leaked out now. Through an XML file that is located on Nokia’s website, which shows off a bunch of the new E-Series handset’s features. It’s surprisingly packing with a VGA display. Nokia’s nHD 640 x 360 displays have been looking all the more out-dated compared to the WVGA. So Nokia E6-00 might be having a VGA display with 640 x 480 pixels of resolution.
Apart from the VGA display, E6-00 is having Symbian^3 OS, HSPA/WCDMA, Wi-Fi connectivity, a QWERTY keyboard located right below the display, an ARM processor confirmed. Some snaps apparently shot with an E6-00 prototype were spotted on Picasa earlier this month. It’s quite a large gallery – all low light photos and it is suggesting an 8-megapixel fixed-focus camera with a dual-LED flash. There has been some rumors surrounding that the handset will come in the traditional bar form factor.
So we might be seeing this E6-00 handset at MWC 2011 in Barcelona and another unannounced Nokia X7-00 is also expected to be announced at the same show. But we are still waiting for the QWERTY-slider Nokia E7 to come out, which has been actually scheduled to release in the last December.
