With CES 2023 in full swing, LG Electronics has showcased that expanded LG gram line-up of laptops – LG gram Ultraslim, and LG gram Style, LG gram 2-in-1, and LG gram.
LG gram Ultraslim
As the name implies, the LG gram Ultraslim 2023 (15Z90RT) is the thinnest gram laptop model to date. It is designed for users who are looking for maximum portability with ultralight weight, packing premium specs. It weighs around 998 grams and measures 10.99 mm. that means it almost has the same thickness as a smartphone or a tablet.
It features a 15.6-inch OLED display with an Anti-glare Low Reflection (AGLR) coating, carrying 1920 x 1080 pixels of resolution, and 400 nits brightness. Under the hood, there’s an Intel’s 13th Gen Raptor Lake P (28W) Core processor, which provides impressive image quality and processing power (P-Cores). The processor is paired with Intel Iris Xe GPU, 8/16/32 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256/512/1 TB Gen 4 NVMe storage.
It has got 2x Type C (TBT4, PD), 1x Type C (PD), H/P ports, and it is backed up by a 60W battery. It has also got MIL-810H military standard durability.
LG gram Style
The LG gram style laptop comes in two display sizes – 16″ LG gram Style (16Z90RS), and 14-inch LG gram Style (14Z90RS). These gram Style laptops will pose an attractive glass design that makes the colours shift and shine according to the light and angle.
The 16-inch LG gram Style comes packed in a WQXGA+ (3,200 x 2,000) OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, while the 14-inch varinat comes with 60Hz WQXGA+ (2,800 x 2,000) OLED display. Both will be powered by the same Intel 13th Generation Raptor Lake P-Core processor, 8/16/32 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256/512/1 TB Gen 4 NVMe storage, 2x Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB 3.1, Micro SD, H/P ports, and tuned with Dolby Atmos atmospheric audio support.
LG gram 2-in-1
The LG gram 2-in-1 laptop also comes in 16-inch (16T90R) and 14-inch (14T90R) categories. The 16-inch LG gram 2-in-1 comes with WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600) Touch IPS display, whereas the 14-inch model carries WQXGA (1,920 x 1,600) Touch IPS display. Both models’ displays are protected by Corning gorilla Glass Victus and brightness goes up to 350nit and feature 60Hz refresh rate.
These 2-in-1 gram laptops also running on Intel 13th Generation Raptor Lake P-Core processor, paired up with teh same RAM and storage configurations as that of the LG gram Style and LG gram Ultraslim laptop models, and also support LG Stylus Pen. It comes bundled with USB-C to HDMI adapter.
LG gram (17, 16, 15, 14-inch)
Along with the aforementioned Ultraslim, gram Style, and gram 2-in-1 laptops, the company has also launched new gram 17, 16, 15, and 14 laptops (models 17Z90R, 16Z90R, 15Z90R, and 14Z90R).
The Lg gram laptops feature anti-glare IPS panels for excellent visual quality, will be powered by Intel’s 13th Gen Raptor Lake P-Core CPU. Inside, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 4GB Laptop GPU will be responsible for graphic departments. It has got 2x Thunderbolt 4, 1x HDMI, 2x USB 3.1. There is also a microSd card slot for expanding the storage.
These laptops will be sold in 8GB / 16GB / 32GB LPDDR5 + 256GB / 512GB / 1TB (Gen4 NVMe) models, and got MIL-STD-810G durability standard. Each LG gram laptop will be sporting 60Hz refresh display, and can last more than 20 hours of video playback on a single charge.
