The iQOO Neo 7 is gearing up to launch in India on February 16 by vivo sub-brand, but there have already been many talking points, courtesy of recent official announcements, indicating it could be a rebranded Neo7 SE which was introduced in China last month. A few weeks after the China’s launch, anew variant has now been put through its paces in a benchmark test.
The folks over 91mobiles found that the Indian version of the upcoming iQOO Neo 7 with model number I2214 was tested on Geekbench 5. The device spotted running an octa-core processor with a 1 + 3 + 4 core configuration and a peak frequency of 3.10GHz, scoring an impressive 998 single-core score and 3,938 for multiple cores. These cores are indicating a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor for the Indian variant.
Amazon India has confirmed the device will have and Dimensity 8200 SoC onboard, making it India’s first smartphone to have the Dimensity 8200 chip at the helm. It also supports 120W charging speeds and ship with 5G connectivity.
This device is expected to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner. There will be three rear cameras: a high-resolution 64MP primary camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Around the front, it should be having a 16MP front-facing shooter for selfies and video calls. Under the hood, it comes with a 5000mAh battery.
