The next big release from Oppo is nearing. Reno series is one of the most popular smartphone lineups from the manufacturer that offers excellent value for money. The manufacturer is getting ready to release the Oppo Reno8 T smartphones very soon. Leaks on this phone have been constant these past few weeks. A couple of days ago, official render of the Reno8 T 4G variant has leaked online, we already have had the chance to get a full specs overview of the hardware inside the handset.
Oppo’s Indonesian branch took to Twitter and officially confirmed that the Oppo Reno 8T series is “coming soon.” They also set up a microsite for the Reno8 T series on its official website, implying the previous design leaks and color options.
The official tweet and the microsite for the launch suggest that the reno8 T is being touted as “The Portrait Expert,” and it will be offered in 4G and 5G models. Based on the previous rumors, the black and orange-colored smartphones, which have flat screens with punch holes in the top-left corner, are being called as the Reno8 T 4G (pictured below). On the other side, Reno8 T 5G handset (shown above) is said to be shipping with a gradient design, curved display, and centered punch hole.
As per the images, both the Reno8 T 4G and 5G variants are having triple camera setups on the rear, and one of them is expected to include a microscope unit, as per the promo page. Both the 4G variants will be sold in a Midnight Black version, which will have Oppo glow design, while the Reno8 T 5G Sunset Orange version will be offered with a leather design.
The 4G variant of the reno8 T will feature a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED 90Hz display, powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC under the hood, pairing up with 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage. On the back side, there’s a 100 MP main camera, along with two additional 2 megapixels black/white and micro shooters.

The Reno8T series also featuring an under-display fingerprint sensor, an IPX54 waterproof rating, and naturally booting the latest Android 13 with ColorOS 13 out of the box. Inside, there will be a 5,000mAh battery with SuperVOOC 33W fast charging support.
The Chinese manufacturer is expected to launch the Reno8 T in India in the first week of February. There is info on the launch date, and price details yet.
