Back in December 2022, the Chinese manufacturer has announced the Oppo Find N2 Flip for global market, greatly undercutting Samsung’s Fold and Flip smartphones’ prices. It seems launch is finally coming as the full official specifications for the Oppo Find N2 Flip have just been published, courtesy of @SnoopyTech, giving us the clearest idea about the upcoming folding phone.
According to the source, Oppo is gearing up to launch the Oppo Find N2 Flip globally “soon,” at the MWC event. That means the handset would go for sale sometime in February or early March. Oppo is also planning to launch Find X6 and Find X6 Pro in the near future.
Specs-wise, we already have a confirmation about the processor, screen, and cameras’ resolution, though this leak has revealed details about RAM, storage, and other important specifications.
The Oppo Find N2 Flip will feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED inner display (2520 x 1080px resolution) with the option for 120Hz refresh, and an AMOLED 3.26-inch outer display (720 x 382px) with 60Hz refresh rate, which uses ultra thin glass. The outer display has Gorilla Glass 5 protection, 403 PPI. The handset driven by a top-of-the-line MediaTek 9000+ processor, and it would be one of the first notable devices to be running on MediaTek’s flagship chipset.
The MediaTek chipset is paired up with 256GB storage, and 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, which is virtually expandable up to 16GB. Around back, it uses two different camera modules: a 50-megapixel camera with Sony IMX890 sensor and an 8MP camera with Sony IMX35 sensor. Up front, it has a 32MP front-facing camera to boot with Sony IMX709 sensor.
Other niceties include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and an IPX4 waterproof rating. This is a 5G capable phone, and the battery is a respectable 4500mAh component, which has support for SUPERVOCC 44W charging speeds. The phone will ship with Android 13 OS out of the box, and it will be sold in two colors: Astral Black and Moonlit Purple.
