The Galaxy S23 phones have been in the news every day these past few weeks. All the three phones Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra have been extensively detailed with leaked full specs, camera samples, unboxing videos, 8K/4K videos, product launch teasers hinting about the low light photography capabilities and more. Pricing has also been discussed for the US, UK, and Germany regions, that the new galaxy S23 phones will be more expensive.
Some reports say that the price hike may happen only in select markets. If you are from India, we now know what the phone’s pricing will look like. A new leak indicates that the Galaxy S23 series may cost more than the S22 did it launch in Indian markets.
If the leaked pricing turns out to be accurate, the Pixel 6 could become the compact Android flagship with the best price/performance ratio in the market after its launch.
Samsung’s base Galaxy S23 model will cost INR 79,999 (~$980). That’s INR 7,000 (~$86) costlier than the previous-gen Galaxy 22 base model. The leak also suggests that the top-most Galaxy S23 variant might be priced at INR 83,999 ($1,029). Meanwhile, the base Galaxy S23+ will be priced at INR 89,999 ($1,103), and Samsung India might ask you to pay INR 114,999 ($1,409) for the base Galaxy S23 Ultra model.

This year’s Galaxy flagship models will be powered by the latest and fastest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset boasting higher frequencies for improved performance., and every model will have 1750 nits of peak brightness, including the vanilla Galaxy S23. The Top-tier Galaxy S23 Ultra is the first in the company’s flagship lineup to be equipped with a 200MP primary camera, which has recently announced HP2 ISOCELL sensor. The upcoming flagships should also be powered exclusively by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a unique version of the SoC at that, boasting higher frequencies for improved performance.
The Galaxy S23 and S23+ — which will have flat back panels and displays — have also adopted a new design for the rear-facing cameras, abandoning the traditional camera hump in favor of individual cutouts for each of their three sensors.
