Last month, Xiaomi unveiled its Vivo X90 series phones in China, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset and bring impressive cameras and blazing fast charging speeds. Expectations are that we’ll see the Vivo X90 Pro escape China sooner or later under the same name.
The Vivo X90 Pro has been getting a lot of fan attention, and we expect to see it in global markets sometime in the coming weeks. Rumors point to late January launch, but that didn’t happen yet. A prolific tipster Paras Guglani has got his hands-on a promotional material summarizing the full specs sheet and features of what appears to be the global variant of the Vivo X90 Pro handset. The device is expected to be offered in a single Legend Black color option.
The poster has reconfirmed the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset, along with the all the specifications of the Chinese variant. X90 Pro’s chipset will be aided by Vivo’s self-invented V2 chipset, which will aid in photography, gaming frame rates, and graphics. It also has an extra large VC liquid cooling setup with a surface area of 4002mm square that will reduce the temperature.
The handset has a triple camera setup on the back, which is tuned by Zeiss’ assistance. It includes a 50MP primary camera with Sony IMX989 1-inch sensor with an f/1.75 lens and OIS, coupled with a 50MP Sony IMX758 portrait camera sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide camera sensor also will be included with it. It can record 4K Super Night Mode videos. Five additional portrait mode filters for the front camera also included with the new Vivo flagship device.

Specs wise, it measures at 9.34m thickness, while carrying a 6.78-inch 2K AMOLED display (2,800×1,260pix resolution) with a 300Hz touch sampling rate, 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM Dimming, and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC and run on Android 13-based OriginOS 3 custom skin out of the box. The Vivo X90 Pro will further include
Under the hood, it has 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, along with a 4,870mAh battery which has fast charging support of 120W, and just eight minutes of charge will provide up to 50 percent charge. The device endures an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
The global launch of Vivo X90 series is also rumored to happen February 3rd. There is also no word on price info yet. Rumors say that the X90 Pro with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage model is supposed to be sold at RM 5,299 in Malaysia, which is approximately Rs 1,01,700. However, Indian pricing could to be lower than this.
