Earlier today, we saw vivo launching both the Vivo Y100 and Y56 phones for Indian markets. It looks like the Chinese brand is preparing to launch the V27 series in the coming days. This lineup has three devices – Vivo V27, V27e, and V27 Pro. These phones will be exclusively sold through Flipkart in India. This revelation comes from Indian online retailer Flipkart, which set up a promo page for Vivo V27 series on its website.
It looks like the Vivo V27 Pro will be launched in next week. According to a reliable source, the V27 Pro is scheduled to launch on February 25, 2023, while the V27 and V27e are scheduled to launch on later dates.
Reports suggest that this device is a rebranded version of the Vivo S16 Pro which launched back in December 2022 in China. Specs wise, the Vivo V27 Pro is built around a 6.78″ 120Hz curved AMOLED screen with 2400×1800 pixels of resolution, and comes with 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage onboard. It runs Android 13-based Funtouch 13 out of the box like all the recent Android phones.
It is powered by the Dimensity 8200 chip at the helm. This chipset has 1×3.1 GHz Cortex-A78 cores, 3×3.0 GHz Cortex-A78 cores, 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 cores, joined with Mali-G610 MC6 GPU.
The Vivo V27 Pro sports a 50MP primary camera with OIS on the rear, joined by an 8MP ultra-wide camera, as well as a 2MP macro unit. For selfies and video calls, you get a huge 50MP front-facing camera. The rest of the V27 Pro’s highlights include an in-display fingerprint reader, a 4,600 mAh battery, and 66W charging (charges up to 50% in 19 mins). It measures 164 x 74.8 x 7.4mm and weighs around 183 grams.
Vivo is rumored to ask you to pay around ₹40,000 for the 8/128GB variant of the V27 Pro handset. While teasing the phone, Flipkart hasn’t revealed the Indian price for the V27 lineup, but with the launch just nine days away, there’s not much waiting to know more about V27 Pro price and availability.
