Numerous reports indicate that Oppo is set to announce the release of the Find X6 series later this month. As of yesterday, it has been reported that the company has commenced mass production of the Oppo Find X6 and Find X6 Pro models.
It seems that the official launch of the Find X6 series is imminent, with Oppo having just released its first teaser for the upcoming release. Additionally, reports indicate that Oppo may also unveil the rumored Oppo Pad 2 tablet at the same event.
Although the teaser released by Oppo does not disclose any significant details about the Find X6 series, it seems that the company plans to release more teasers in the upcoming days to confirm the launch date and highlight the key features of the Find X6 series.
Earlier reports had suggested that the Find X6 would be available in two variants – one powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset and the other by the Dimensity 9200 chipset. Alternatively, fresh reports have surfaced indicating that Oppo may choose to exclusively release the D9200 chip version of the Find X6, instead of the previously anticipated dual variant release with both Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and Dimensity 9200 chipset options.
In contrast, the Find X6 Pro will be equipped with the more advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and will feature a top-of-the-line triple camera unit on the back, consisting of the highly acclaimed Sony IMX989, IMX890, and IMX890 sensors. The rear camera setup of the Find X6 will also be no slouch, boasting a powerful combination of the Sony IMX890, Samsung JN1, and Sony IMX890 camera sensors, all of which pack a punch with their 50 megapixel count. As for selfies and video calls, both phones will feature a top-quality 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 front-facing camera.
The latest leak suggests that the Find X6 Pro is set to raise the bar in terms of display technology, with a massive 6.8-inch E6 AMOLED screen that boasts an impressive 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 10-bit colors. However, what truly sets this display apart is Oppo’s proprietary technology that allows for eight times the brightness of other devices, potentially reaching an incredible peak brightness of 2,500 nits.
Recent leaks have also given us a sneak peek at the Oppo Find X6 series’ design and color options. The Oppo Find X6 Pro will reportedly come in a luxurious leather version named “Desert Silver Moon,” which will have a small glass panel on top. Additionally, there will be two glass versions available, “Flying Spring Green” and “Cloud Ink Black.” Meanwhile, the vanilla Oppo Find X6 will only be available in a glass exterior, coming in “Flying Spring Green,” “Starry Sky Black,” and “Snow Mountain Gold” color options.
Based on the recently emerged 3C certifications, both the vanilla and Pro models of the Find X6 series are rumored to be equipped with a capacious 5,000mAh battery. Furthermore, it is speculated that the vanilla model will support speedy 80W charging, while the Pro model is expected to offer even faster 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities. In addition to these impressive features, Oppo enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the possible release of the highly anticipated Oppo Pad 2 tablet, which could be unveiled alongside the Find X6 series.
