As we said earlier, Infinix has taken its rapid charging capabilities to the next level with the unveiling of its latest innovation today – the All-Round FastCharge technology. This groundbreaking solution boasts an impressive 260W wired and 110W wireless charging speeds, enabling users to charge their devices at lightning-fast speeds.
With the new technology, users can charge their devices from 0 to 25% in just one minute using the wired option. It is also capable of charging a device from 0 to 100% in under 8 minutes using the wired option. This means that users can enjoy extended battery life in mere minutes, without having to wait for long periods for their devices to charge.
For those who prefer the convenience of wireless charging, Infinix’s All-Round FastCharge technology is capable of charging a device from 0 to 100% in just 16 minutes. This is a remarkable feat that demonstrates Infinix’s commitment to providing its customers with cutting-edge technology that makes their lives easier and more convenient.
This development comes just nine months after the company unveiled its 180W Thunder Charge. The new technology builds on the previous one, upgrading from a dual 8C battery to a single 12C battery with a 4-pump circuit design. This design is capable of intelligently identifying power requirements and allocating the number of charge pumps needed, making the charging process more efficient.
Infinix claims that the charging efficiency of this technology is 98.5%. Additionally, the 4,400 mAh test battery used during testing retained 90% of its initial capacity after 1,000 charging cycles. These results demonstrate the reliability and durability of Infinix’s charging technology.
The charger itself uses a combination of GaN material and AHB circuit infrastructure to achieve high power density, small size, and safe charging control. This combination ensures that the charger is both efficient and safe to use. In addition to the charger, the cable used in the charging process is also important. Infinix has developed a cable that can carry a current of up to 13A to ensure that the 260W charging speed is achieved.
Infinix has also introduced a 110W custom-made charger with a dual-coil design for both vertical and horizontal charging. The 110W charger features a fan at the base to improve heat dissipation, which helps to maintain a stable and safe charging temperature. This design ensures that the charging process is not only fast but also safe for the device being charged.
The 260W All-Round FastCharge technology introduced by Infinix is not just limited to wired and wireless charging. It also offers several other features that make it a versatile charging solution. The technology supports reverse charging, which means that users can use their device to charge other devices that support wireless charging.
Another feature of this technology is bypass charging, which allows users to charge their device while using it for extended periods, such as during video calls or gaming sessions. In addition to these features, the 260W All-Round FastCharge technology also supports multi-protocol charging. This means that it is compatible with other protocols, including Power Delivery 3.0, which ensures that users can use the same charger to charge multiple devices that support different charging protocols.
Infinix has confirmed that the new 260W All-Round FastCharge technology will debut with an upcoming Infinix Note smartphone this year. This means that users can expect to see the technology in action very soon.
