Infinix is set to revolutionize the charging game with its upcoming flagship, the Infinix GT 10 Pro, which is rumored to debut the much-talked-about All-Round FastCharge technology. The latest leak suggests that the smartphone will indeed be equipped with the 260W wired charging solution, enabling users to fully charge the device in under 15 minutes.
Apart from this revolutionary charging technology, the Infinix GT 10 Pro is also expected to feature top-of-the-line specs. The smartphone is likely to be powered by a flagship processor
Tipster Paras Guglani has revealed the anticipated specifications for the Infinix GT 10 Pro, which is expected to be one of the first smartphones to support 260W charging. The device will reportedly feature a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. The back of the device is expected to house a massive 200MP main camera sensor with OIS, while the software side will be covered by the latest Android 13 operating system.
Infinix GT 10 Pro is expected to bring a 5,000 mAh battery, which is slightly larger than the 4400mAh battery that was used to test its 260W solution, so it’s reasonable to expect that the charging time for the GT 10 Pro will be slightly longer than the claimed 7.5 minutes for a 1-100% charge. However, given the impressive 260W All-Round FastCharge technology, it’s still likely that the GT 10 Pro’s charging time will be significantly faster than that of many other phones on the market.
Assuming that the charging time scales linearly with the battery size, we can estimate that the GT 10 Pro’s 5000mAh battery will charge up to 25% in around 1.25 minutes (25% of 5000mAh is 1250mAh, which is 28.4% more than 4400mAh, so we can add 28.4% to the claimed charging time of 1 minute to get an estimate of 1.284 minutes, or about 1.25 minutes).
Similarly, we can estimate that the GT 10 Pro’s 5000mAh battery will take around 9.6 minutes to charge from 1% to 100% (100% – 25% is 75%, which is 1.705 times the capacity of the 25% charge, so we can multiply the claimed charging time of 7.5 minutes by 1.705 to get an estimate of 12.79 minutes, and then subtract the initial 1.25 minutes to get an estimate of 11.54 minutes, or about 9.6 minutes).
Of course, these are just rough estimates based on assumptions and calculations, and the actual charging time of the Infinix GT 10 Pro may differ depending on various factors such as the temperature, the charger and cable used, and the phone’s software and hardware. However, the source didnt mention about the 100W wireless charging capability for the phone.
