After the official announcement of the Galaxy M14 for the Indian market, rumors have been circulating about a closely related smartphone called the Galaxy F14. This device was first spotted on Google Play Console and now, 91mobiles has shared a few images of its back side.
In addition to the previous sightings on Google Play Console and 91mobiles, the Galaxy F14 smartphone has now made an appearance on Geekbench today. This latest development further fuels the anticipation and excitement for Samsung’s upcoming release.
The Geekbench listing has provided some insight into the device’s specifications, revealing that it will be powered by Exynos 1330 processor and 6GB of RAM. The Exynos 1330 is a 5nm chip that boasts a pair of powerful Cortex-A78 cores, clocked at 2.4GHz, and six A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. This configuration promises lightning-fast performance, which will be welcomed by power users and gamers alike.
The Exynos 1330 also comes with a Mali-G68 MP2 and a 5G modem, enabling lightning-fast connectivity speeds for users who require fast and reliable network access. The chip supports FHD+ displays at up to 120Hz, making it perfect for users who demand smooth and crisp visuals. Additionally, the Exynos 1330 can support cameras up to 108MP, which will provide users with high-quality images and videos. It can also capture 4K video at 30fps, which will be perfect for content creators and video enthusiasts.
The latest renders of the Samsung Galaxy F14 showcase two new color variants: a pinkish-purple hue and a vibrant green. These color options are in line with Samsung’s 2023 design language, which emphasizes bold and vibrant hues.
One notable difference between the Galaxy F14 and the recently announced M14 is the camera setup. The Galaxy F14 appears to have two camera rings on the back, while the M14 features a third camera. However, aside from this difference, the two phones appear to have a very similar design.
The Samsung Galaxy F14 is expected to feature a large 6.6-inch or 6.5-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone will be equipped with a 50+2-megapixel rear camera setup. The front of the device will have a 13-megapixel selfie camera, which will be perfect for video calls and selfies.
The phone will also feature a large 6,000mAh battery, ensuring that users can stay connected for extended periods of time. In terms of charging, the Samsung Galaxy M14 supports only 15W charging, but there is a chance that the F14 will go up to 25W.
The Samsung Galaxy F14 is expected to launch with the latest Android 13 operating system and One UI 5.1 user interface out of the box. Samsung is expected to commit to providing the F14 with two major OS updates and four years of security patches, ensuring that the device remains up-to-date and secure for an extended period.
The Galaxy F14 is expected to be priced at ₹18,500, which is the same as the Galaxy A14 5G, although the two devices will have slightly different hardware. It is worth noting that the Galaxy M14, which is a very similar device to the F14, is not yet available in India.
Last year’s Galaxy F13 was launched at ₹12,000, but it was a less capable 4G-only device. The Galaxy F14 is expected to offer significant improvements over the F13, making it a more attractive option for those looking for a mid-range smartphone.
