A few day back, Verizon has updated Motorola Droid Pro with a new software and now Verizon has started to pushing out the Android 2.2 FroYo update to its LG Ally, which has launched launched year and running with Android 2.1 Eclair at present.
Verizon wireless hasn’t announced the Froyo update till now, but the support page regarding the software update has already popped up on Verizon’s site.

We can say that with this Froyo update, the handset might not be able to run the Adobe Flash Player 10.1. which has required an 800MHz processor, where as LG Ally s having a 600MHz chipset only.
How to get Android 2.2 FroYo Upgrade
To install Over-the-Air update, LG Ally users need to select “Menu” > “Settings” > “About phone” > “System Updates” > “Restart and Install”. Software update is weighing 53MB of size and it will take 15-20 minutes to down and install it.
