Xiaomi had earlier announced the launch of its highly anticipated Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which was set to be released globally this month. However, according to a trusted source, the smartphone will have a limited release in select international markets only. It has been confirmed that the device will not be available in several regions where Xiaomi had previously sold its Mi 11 Ultra model.
As per MIUI tipster Kacper Skrzypek, it has been revealed that Xiaomi’s highly-anticipated smartphone, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, will not be released in India, Indonesia, Turkey, and Japan. The lack of MIUI firmware builds for these regions suggests that the device will not be available there.
The device will only have five MIUI builds, which are China, Global, EEA, Russia, and Taiwan. This implies that the phone will only be sold in select Western countries, and customers in other regions will have to import it.
This implies that individuals who are interested in purchasing the Xiaomi 13 Ultra but reside in regions where the device is not launched will have to import it. However, it is important to note that Xiaomi does not provide international warranties and repairs on their products, unlike Apple. Consequently, it is not advisable for most people to import a costly smartphone.
This development may disappoint potential customers in these countries who were eagerly anticipating the Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s release. They may have to resort to importing the device from other regions where it is available, which can be costly and complicated due to the lack of international warranties and repairs provided by Xiaomi.

Despite this setback, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra remains a highly anticipated device due to its impressive features. It is expected to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, just like the vanilla and Pro models. However, it will come with a superior camera system developed in collaboration with Leica.
The phone is rumored to have a 32MP front-facing camera and four 50MP rear cameras with wide, ultra-wide, telephoto, and periscope lenses. Its primary sensor will be a 1-inch Sony IMX989, while the other three will be Sony IMX858 sensors.
In addition to its exceptional camera setup, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will boast up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It will also come with Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box and support for fast charging, including 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
