Earlier today, we shared information on the live image of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone, which is scheduled to launch in China on April 18th. Now, we bring you some additional visuals to give you a better look at the device.
Newly released high-quality renders of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra offer a sneak peek at what could be one of the most anticipated flagship phones of the year. Reputable tipster Onleaks has collaborated with SmartPrix to share these renders, providing a glimpse of the smartphone’s design and key specifications.
The design of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra bears a resemblance to the limited Xiaomi 12S Ultra, sporting a large circular camera bump at the rear with four lens cutouts arranged in a staggered pattern. Additionally, a dual LED flash can be seen positioned at the bottom, analogous to the 6 o’clock position on a clock face. The back panel of the smartphone showcases a significant protruding camera module, which bears a resemblance to the one featured on the recently launched Find X6 Pro. The module accommodates four sensors and an LED flash unit.
Based on the leaked renders, the camera bump of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra protrudes significantly from the rest of the chassis. The leak suggests that the smartphone will have dimensions of around 163.1 x 74.6 x 9.57mm, with the camera bump alone measuring about 15.61mm. This means that the camera module will make the device appear notably thicker.
As per the leaked renders, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s back panel features a large camera module with four sensors and an LED flash unit, although it doesn’t bear the Leica branding. However, the smartphone has been confirmed to have the famous camera maker’s technology. The back panel has an uneven appearance, with the top portion elevated and merging with the lower part below the camera island. Furthermore, the rear panel has curved edges.
OnLeaks has suggested that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be equipped with the 1-inch Sony IMX989 primary sensor, in addition to three other 50-megapixel cameras. Meanwhile, the front of the device is rumored to have a punch-hole display that could house a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The leaked renders of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra also provide a glimpse of the front of the phone, which features a curved display with a punch-hole cutout at the center and slim bezels. The top of the front panel has a speaker grille, along with two additional cutouts, which may be meant for an IR Blaster and a secondary microphone. At the bottom of the device, there is a SIM tray, a speaker grille, and a USB-C port. The sides of the device appear to be flattened, similar to the Xiaomi 13 Pro.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra Rumored Features
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, as per the leaked renders. Other speculated specifications include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of internal storage. The phone may also come with a 4,900mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Typically, high-end smartphones like the Xiaomi 13 Ultra are exclusive to the Chinese market or have limited availability in certain regions. It’s always exciting to see flagship devices released globally, and it will be interesting to see how the Xiaomi 13 Ultra performs in various markets. We’ll have to wait and see how it stacks up against other top-tier smartphones in terms of features, performance, and price.
