Today, Vivo has unveiled the Vivo T2 5G series in India, catering to the requirements of young millennials and Gen Z users. The series comprises the Vivo T2 5G and the Vivo T2x 5G, which have been customized for the Indian market and differ from their Chinese counterparts.
Vivo has launched the T2 5G series in India, which caters to the demands of millennials and Gen Z. These devices follow the Vivo T1 lineup from the previous year and come with 5G network support. The phones have a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera and two circular rings on the back to accommodate the dual camera sensors. While the T2 5G has similar specifications to the iQOO Z7 5G, the T2x 5G is a new model.
Vivo T2 5G
Moving on to the Vivo T2 5G, it is equipped with a Snapdragon 695 chipset, which is different from the Chinese variant that was initially planned to feature the Snapdragon 870 processor. It’s worth noting that the T2’s launch in China was canceled, but its specifications were revealed when Vivo accidentally uploaded the T2’s details on its website, and it was found to be a rebranded version of the iQOO Neo6 SE.
Beneath the surface, the device is propelled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, bolstered by Adreno 619GB GPU for fluid graphics. It is equipped with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and a 128GB storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card. It operates on Funtouch OS, an exclusive skin built on the Android 13 operating system. The device boasts a cutting-edge in-display fingerprint scanner for top-tier security.
In terms of optics, the device comes with a dual-camera configuration on the rear, featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor that supports both OIS and EIS, and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor for producing artistic bokeh effects. Meanwhile, the front camera flaunts a 16-megapixel lens for taking exceptional selfies and engaging in video calls.
When it comes to connectivity, the device is well-equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and transferring data. A 4,500mAh battery powers the device, and it supports 44W fast charging for uninterrupted usage. The phone is lightweight, tipping the scales at 172 grams and has dimensions of 158.91 x 73.53 x 7.80.
Vivo T2x 5G
The Vivo T2x 5G sports a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, delivering crisp and clear visuals. It features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls, while the back of the device houses a triple-camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash.
Additionally, the phone incorporates a fingerprint sensor that is mounted on the side for convenient access. It will be powered by FunTouch OS 13, which is a customized skin based on Android 13, providing a smooth and seamless user experience.
Beneath the surface, the T2x 5G is equipped with the Dimensity 6020 chipset paired with a maximum of 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
