According to AndroidOS.in, Motorola DEFY is expected to available for sales here in India, starting from next Monday, January 24th.
Motorola DEFY is a water-resistant and dustproof smart phone and it also sports Gorilla Glass display, running on Android 2.1 Eclair OS with enhanced MOTOBLUR, equipped with TI OMAP3610 800MHz Processor and features 3.7 inch TFT capacitive touch display, virtual QWERTY keyboard, 5 Megapixel(2560×1920 pixels) camera with Auto Focus & LED Flash, 3G, Wi-Fi, HSPA, Swype Integration, DLNA support, 2GB internal shared memory, 2GB microSD card & support up to 32GB expansion, Android Market and a whole host of Google services.

Motorola has already announced that DEFy will be upgraded to Android 2.2 Froyo inthe second quarter of the this year 2011(most probably in June). At that time Gingerbread may be old and not the latest Android OS anymore. Motorola Defy has already available now in US through T-Mobile, Australia and that Germany.
Price & Availability
Motorola DEFY is expected to release in India next Monday on January 24th(not confirmed yet) and it might cost around Rs 20,000 or $438.
