In a previous report, we discussed about the leaked images of the unreleased “Beats Studio Buds+,” discovered in an iOS 16.4 beta update. These headphones are the anticipated successor to the first-generation Beats Studio Buds, which were launched in June 2021.
Apple is all set to launch the successor to its 2021 Studio Buds wireless earbuds, which featured active noise cancellation (ANC). The new iteration is the Beats Studio Buds+, which has been listed on Amazon for a brief period of time, confirming its upcoming launch. The earbuds are expected to release on May 18 and are priced at $169.95.
In addition to the Amazon listing, the Beats Studio Buds+ were also recently certified by IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority), adding further credibility to their imminent release. The certification indicates that the new wireless earbuds are ready for sale in Singapore.
The listing has revealed more details about their features, including a new transparent colorway. These wireless earbuds appear to have a similar design to the existing Beats Studio Buds, featuring a stemless design and a small plastic case, providing a sporty alternative for users who prefer Android phones or seek a different option from Apple’s AirPods.
In addition to the black and white color options, the Amazon listing also provided a sneak peek at a transparent version of the Beats Studio Buds+. This colorway bears a striking resemblance to the recently launched Nothing Ear (2) earbuds, which also feature a transparent design. The listing also confirms that the Beats Studio Buds+ will come with a USB-C charging case and offer up to 36 hours of battery life, a notable improvement from the 32 hours of the previous-generation model. The earbuds will also have a new audio design with 3x larger microphones and improved ear pressure venting, promising an even better audio experience.
Additionally, the new Studio Buds+ earbuds offer 1.6 times more Active Noise Cancellation power than their predecessors, providing a more immersive listening experience. The Transparency mode has also seen an improvement of up to 2 times. Beats Studio Buds+ also come with improvements to Android and iPhone features, including automatic device switching, Hey Siri, one-touch pairing, and Find My support, making them more user-friendly for consumers.
The Beats Studio Buds+ also come with IPX4-rated water resistance, making them suitable for use during workouts or in rainy weather. Additionally, they will be available with XS, S, M, and L ear tip size options to ensure a comfortable and secure fit for a wider range of users.
