We’ve already reported you that Verizon will be offering an unlimited data plan of $30. Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam has just confirmed that Verizon iPhone 4 consumers can be able opt the $40 Data Unlimited data plan. McAdam has stated that a capped data plan for iPhone 4 would make an unneeded barrier for customers looking to switch from AT&T. “I’m not going to shoot myself in the foot,” he told the WSJ.
Don’t get excited, unfortunately this unlimited data deal for iPhone 4 from Verizon would be set for a promotional period only to attract the customers, so it would be a temporary offer.
Verizon has been offering an unlimited data plan for $30 a month on their smartphones. Verizon iPhone 4 is having hotspot functionality to bear up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices. We don’t have any details if this functionally will include the $30 unlimited data plan. Verizon is already charging for hotspot functionality on Droid X Motorola handsets.
