HTC has announced another Android powered smartphone at Mobile World Congress show 2011, the full-touchscreen HTC Salsa. In addition to the HTC ChaCha, HTC Salsa also a Facebook-centric Android phone.
Offering the mid-range or entry-level specifications, HTC Salsa comes with deeper Facebook integration and dedicated Facebook button, targeting the young generation especially.
The quick-share button lights up when you are doing stuff with your phone that you can share on Facebook, so that you can share the content or updates through Facebook. With a single press of the button, you can update your status, upload a photo, share a Website, browsing the web or swiping through photos, post what song you are listening to, and more advantages. If you press and hold it down, you can check into a location with Facebook places.

HTC Salsa comes with the latest Android Gingerbread 2.3.3 version, sporting 3.4 inches 320 x 480 pixels LCD display, 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset with 512MB of RAM, 5 Megapixels rear camera with LED flash, and a front-facing VGA cam for video calls, 512MB ROM / RAM, micro-SD card slot for 32GB memory expansion, Android Market, 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and a standard microUSB slot and more on the board.
Price & Availability
AT&T has reportedly confirmed that it will carry two Facebook phones from HTC later this year. HTC Chacha will be available in Q2 of 2011 in Europe and Asia.
