ViewSonic has officially announced its Android tablet, The ViewPad 7 includes 3G phone functionality with it’s built in GSM/3G modem. The ViewPad 7 is powered by Android 2.2 OS and it is a world’s first 7″ Android 2.2 (Froyo). ViewSonic will be bringing the Viewpad 7 along to IFA 2010 this week.
The ViewPad 7 features 7-inch capacitive touchscreen LED display(800×480), 600MHz Snapdragon processor, Android 2.2 OS, 3MP rear camera, 3MP VGA front camera, Wi-Fi, 3G along with GPS, USB, Bluetooth 2.1. ViewPAd7 comes with up to 32GB storage with microSD card support.
The Viewpad 7 also sports advanced features including Assisted GPS and an office document reader, along with the capability for hand-written note taking.
The ViewPad 7 has a built-in accelerometer and also comes with assisted GPS, having a standard-size SIM slot along side a micro SD slot. Its battery is said to be good for about six or seven hours of use between charges.
