Folks over Engadget have managed to get leaked screenshots of Verizon’s internal sources suggesting that the recently launched HTC Incredible S, which is a ‘world phone’ which should be released soon in the European markets, might be releasing as HTC Droid Incredible 2 by Verizon Wireless in the U.S. According to sources, HTC Droid Incredible 2 is expected to release in this quarter.
One screenshot shows a device HTC63503 listed as a display for the “INCRD2” with the model listed as HTC ADR6350. The other device listed as the HTC63503, which can be seen in another screen shot of the carrier’s computer system. These screenshots are pointing that a device called Droid Incredible 2 by HTC on Verizon Wireless’ network, might become available for purchase in feature very soon.
HTC will be shipping the Incredible S internationally in the spring. HTC Incredible S is already available for purchase in the UK, through retailers Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy.
