The PlayStation phone, Sony Ericsson Xperia Play isn’t the only device to run the PlayStation Suite. nVIDIA has officially announced that PlayStation Suite will be coming to Tegra 2 equipped Android smartphones and tablets later this year. You all might know that PS Suite is the software program that lets the PlayStation games to run on Android powered devices and it sell Sony games specially designed for the Xperia Play and other supported Android phones (not-to-distant future).
So Tegra 2 chip powered LG Optimus 2X, Motorola Atrix and the Samsung Galaxy S II (will also equipped with Tegra 2 chip) will be finally able to play the PS games. Its a good move for Android platform by Sony. nVIDIA has recently launched Tegra Zone app for Android.
nVIDIA hasn’t announced about which which Tegra 2 powered devices would be PlayStation certified. But we can expect more devices to be added to the list of supported phones when it is finally launched. Syphon Filter, Wild Arms and Cool Boarders 2 games are expected to take part of this program at launch time. The company has already started a certification program that will ensure the consumers and hardware manufacturers that their devices will be able to deliver the suitable PlayStation experience.
