Qik, A recent acquisition by the Skype, has released the Qik Video Connect app for Apple iPhone and iPod Touch (fourth gen), iPad 2 Wi-Fi, and iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G.with iOS 4.0 or later. It brings the ability of Live video conversations over 3G, 4G, and Wi-Fi connections.
Qik’s live broadcasting feature lets you post a live link to Facebook and Twitter if you’d like, so that you can share the videos as they are being recorded and invited friends can watch the live stream in real time as your are shooting it. This app lets you to post video call message to your friends (Qik users) if they are offline. So it enables the individuals to stay connected with friends and family through video calling, video sharing and video messaging.
Qik Video app lets the user to develop a newsfeed and you can watch friends’ video content from the iPhone. It works over 3G, 4G speeds, and Wi-Fi.
Qik Video Connect Plus
This app’s premium version, Qik Video Connect Plus is also available for accessing the enhanced features like captured HD video quality uploads, real-time video effects, video editing capability. The Premium version is pricing at $2.99.
The app’s free version is still awaiting Apple’s approval and the premium version, Qik Video Connect Plus is now available for download in App Store.
