Acer seems to be looking forward to offer a huge discount for its new Acer Iconia A1-810 tablet. According to latest rumors and unconfirmed reports, the A1-810 will be priced just at $149. According to Digitimes, Acer is could be lowering the price of its Iconia A1-810 tablet from US$250 to US$149 to compete against the iPad mini.
In the mean time, the tablet was up for sale on Sunday in Europe via French retailer, Rue Du Commerce at €199 which is around $259 (far above the rumored pricing) with an expected delivery in June. The listing was later removed.
The Acer Iconia A1-810 has a 7.9-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) IPS display and it is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor. The tablet is running Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. It has a 5-megapixel rear facing camera and a VGA (0.3MP) front-facing camera.
The device features 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a 3250mAh battery, a micro HDMI port, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi and more. The device weighing around 460grams measures 208.7×145.7×10.5mm in dimension.
