This year at CTIA 2011 event, Along with the two new smartphones, one Windows Phone 7 and an Android phone – HTC HD7S and LG Thrill 4G, AT&T is bringing an Android powered tablet, Acer Iconia Tab A501, announced by AT&T officially. Back in February, Acer Iconia Tab A501 was launched at MWC 2011 event.
AT&T’s Acer Iconia Tab A501 supports the carrier’s 4G network. it comes with Android 3.0 Honeycomb, an Nvidia dual-core 1GHz processor, sporting a 10-inch WXGA multitouch screen, equipped with 5-megapixel camera on the back and a front-facing camera for video calls, 1080p HD video output via its HDMI port.
It is the same version as the Acer Iconia Tab A500. The difference between the A500 and the A501 is that the A500 is Wi-Fi only, whereas the A501 is Wi-Fi and 3G.
