Before the MWC event kicks off in Barcelona, Acer has officially unveiled its upcoming Android OS powered handset, the Acer Liquid Glow. Along with Acer CloudMobile, this handset will also be making an appearance at the Mobile World Congress event in next week. Acer Liquid Glow come with an impressive design, packing the following entry-level specifications.

# 3.7-inch WVGA display with 480 X 800p resolution.
# 1GHz Qualcomm single-core processor.
# 5MP rear-facing shooter.
# 512MB RAM.

It’s a good sign that being an entry-level handset, the Acer Liquid Glow will be shipped with the Android 4.0 ICS and NFC-built-in chipset. The device hits the shelves early summer of this year in Alpine White, Cat’s-Eye Black and Sakura Pink colored variants. No word on availability and the price tag info. Expected this handset to go for sale at an affordable price point.
