Apple has released second new beta version of its Snow Leopard Operating System Mac OS X 10.6.6 beta 2. Recently a month back on Nov 4th, Apple has unveiled its 1st beta version, Mac OS X 10.6.6 beta 1 Build 10H574, which was seeded to developers. Apple has seeded the 1st beta versions to developers before its latest OS X update, Mac OS X 10.6.5 released out to public. Mac OS X 10.6.6 beta 2 Build 10J537 is named as Gold Master edition, which indicates that this update process is in last testing stage and ready to public release and this GM edition is listed for developers accessing it through the Mac App Store developer program.
Mac OS X 10.6.6 has been determined to introduce ‘the developer support for fetching & renewing App Store receipts’. So most probably, this new beta version meant for Mac App Store and OS X 10.6.6 might be scheduled at the time of launching duration of Mac App Store, which is expected to release in next few months. In general, Mac App Store is meant for – When you buy an app from the store, it downloads and installs automatically in the Dock.
So we can say that public release of next OS update Mac OS X 10.6.6 might be just around corner. Apple has addressed the developers to focus on major changes in this new beta version are Bonjour, OpenGL, Spotlight and Printing. The new Mac OS X 10.6.6 beta 2 download is 1GB of size.
