Apple iPad 2 might come to US on April 2nd or 9th: Rumours

Apple iPad 2 April Launch

According to a well sourced information by a German based blog MacNotes.de, Apple’s second generation iPad will be launched early April in the U.S. They are saying that iPad 2 will debut in U.S either on April 2nd Sunday or April 9th Saturday. Like the first iPad, the next-iteration of iPad also will launch only in the U.S and it will go for international launch in July.

According to the report, speaking of exclusivity periods, iPad 2 will be sold directly by Apple for the first six months. Having to wait until October and once the six month period gets completed, retail partners like Walmart and Best Buy will get iPad 2 and can sell it.

The blog also states that the next generation iPad will be having “Retinal” Display, rear and front-facing cameras(as expected) and an USB port. The report also clarifies that “Retina” display will not be of as high pixel density as on the iPhone 4. Pricing information not revealed yet. More info as we get.
