We already reported about the specs comparison between The New iPad and Asus Transformer Pad Infinity 700 Series tablet computers. Now, it’s another Asus tablet’s turn from the new Transformer Pad series to compete against the latest iteration of the Apple iPad tablet. Asus Transformer Pad 300 is an an inexpensive ICS quad core tablet, which has all the same specifications and hardware internals as that of the Asus Transformer pad Infinity 700 Series, except a couple of changes.
The New Apple iPad
The New Apple iPad is one of the most pixel-packed tablet, which has got a 9,7-inch Retina Display with 2048x1536p resolution, 264ppi, an improved A5X dual-core processor with quad-core graphics, a 5-megapixel backside illuminated sensor with five-element lens,infra-red filter, 1080p video recording capability, 4G LTE capability with speeds of 3.1Mbps on EV-DO, 7.2 on HSPA. It lasts up to 10 hours on GSM operation and 9 hours on 4G LTE. The new Apple iPad is 9.4 mm thick and weighs 652 g (Wi-Fi-only) / 662 grams (Wi-Fi+4G). Apple claims that graphics are 4 times faster than what’s inside an Nvidia Tegra 3. The new iPad has also got iPhoto for iOS and updated iMovie app as well as new versions of Infinity Blade – Dungeons and Sketchbook Ink.

Asus Transformer Pad 300
The Asus Transformer Pad 300 runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and it packs plastic shell covering a 10.1-inch Super IPS display with 1280 X 800 pixels of resolution (instead of the IPS+ panel with 1080p display of Transformer Pad Infinity), housing an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, an 8 megapixel camera on back side to record 1080p HD videos, an additional 1.2 megapixel front-facing shooter for forwarding video chats, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 32GB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE connectivity, 22Whr battery, access to Google Play.
