Apple has finally launched the New iPad tablet today. The new Apple iPad has captivated our attention thanks to its killer specs and cool design. A few days ago, Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet at MWC 2012 event in Barcelona. Both tablets are different in many ways. The new iPad is an iOS powered tablet, while the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is an Android OS powered tablet. It’s going to be interesting to see how the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 stacks up against the the new iPad.
The New Apple iPad
The New Apple iPad is one of the most pixel-packed tablet, which packs 9,7-inch Retina Display with 2048x1536p resolution, 264ppi, an improved A5X dual-core processor with quad-core graphics, a 5-megapixel backside illuminated sensor with five-element lens,infra-red filter, 1080p video recording capability, 4G LTE capability with speeds of 3.1Mbps on EV-DO, 7.2 on HSPA. It lasts up to 10 hours on GSM operation and 9 hours on 4G LTE. The new Apple iPad is 9.4 mm thick and weighs 652 g (Wi-Fi-only) / 662 grams (Wi-Fi+4G). Apple claims that graphics are 4 times faster than what’s inside an Nvidia Tegra 3.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 runs the latest and greatest version of Android OS – v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, sporting a 10.1-inch PLS TFT display with 1280 x 800 pixels of resolution and 149 ppi pixel density, 3.15 rear-facing camera with LED Flash, an additional front-facing shooter, 16/32/64GB internal memory with memory expansion up to 32GB, support for 21 Mbps download speeds/5.76 Mbps upload speeds, Bluetooth 3.0, access to Google Play, 7000mAh battery to power everything.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 also comes with S-Pen support, and a preinstalled S-Notes, Adobe Photoshop Touch and Adobe Ideas apps that have been optimized for the stylus with support for pressure sensitivity.
