Today, Apple has started taking pre-orders for its latest tablet iPad 4 powered by an Apple A6X dual-core processor with quad-core graphics. Now, this tablet is available in Apple stores starting at $499, so customers can book the device in advance before it hits the store. The tablet will be available in the market on November 2.
Apple iPad 4 features iOS 6, sporting a 9.7-inch Retina Display with 2048×1536 Pixels of resolution, 5 megapixels iSight camera to record 1080p HD videos, 720p front-facing FaceTime camera, 16GB/ 32GB/ 64GB non-expandable memory storage, video calling over Wi-Fi or Cellular, faster 802.11a/b/g/n dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity, compatible with 4G LTE network.
Apart from the US the tablet will be available in 33 countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and United Kingdom.
Mobile carriers that will offer the iPad 4 with Cellular include AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, EE, Rogers, Virgin Mobile Canada, fido, SK Telecom, KDDI, 3 Hong Kong, KT, SmarTone, SingTel, Telstra, Telus, and Bell from US and around the world.
The Wi-Fi variant for the iPad 4 starts at $499 for the 16GB, $599 for 32GB, and $699 for the 64GB.The Wi-Fi and Cellular variant will cost considerably more and available in mid-November. For Wi-Fi and Cellular variant, the iPad 4 prices start at $629 for the 16GB variant, $729 for 32GB, and $829 for the 64GB. All the models will be available in black and white color.
