Late Yesterday, A few surprising Photographs seems to show a white Apple iPhone being tested on T-Mobile USA’s AWS bands have emerged online, provided to BGR by a noted iPhone hacker Chronic. The actual internal model is N94, which has been spotted in the above handset. We already know that the Verizon’s iPhone model is N92 and and the standard AT&T GSM model as N90. The iPhone pictured above is running a test version of iOS with apps such as the Apple Employee Directory and Radar.
BGR writes that that the proximity sensor on the above prototype looks different than that of the upcoming white iPhone retail model, which is expected to release by the end of this month. Was this testing done before or after the announcement of the AT&T/T-Mobile merger or Is Apple just testing the T-Mobile radio for integration in future iPhone devices?
It is still mysterious that if we could see a T-Mobile connected Apple iPhone 4’s launch in future or not, assuming a proposed acquisition from AT&T is granted federal approval. If all goes well, the T-Mobile customers will be eventually buying an Apple iPhone in the not too distant future and the need to wait for the merger to be completed. Check out the more images after the break.
