There has been a ton of rumors on the next Apple iPhone (iPhone 5 or whatever Apple calls it). Next iPhone is expected to be announced in October and recent rumors suggest that the device will sport a 3.9-inch display with 1136 X 640 pixels of resolution. Ok, enough of the iPhone 5 news. If you’re looking forward to seeing what Apple has up its sleeve this summer, circle this date on your calendar: June 11, 2012. Apple has officially announced that the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) keynote will kick off at 10 a.m. PT, 1 p.m. ET. on June 11th at Moscone West in San Francisco.
Surprisingly, the Cupertino company hasn’t mentioned about who will be delivering the keynote for this year. Obviously, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook (for the first time) will took the stage and other executives will also address the keynote. Although there’s no mention of the what Apple will announce on June 11th, some have speculated that the company will talk about the new features of the iOS 6 and the recently leaked iOS 6 Maps app (courtesy of BGR). Maybe Apple won’t reveal the new iPhone at the developer-centric event.
