Have you been eagerly waiting for the revised Asus Padfone Infinity smartphone-tablet hybrid? Your wait is almost over now. Padfoen Infinity is an Android smartphone and tablet docking device combo, and it has been announced at this year’s MWC event. If you are residing in Taiwan, you can now go ahead and pre-order your very own Padfone Infinity right now.
The device comes in 32GB and 64GB iterations in gray and pink colored editions. Asus is charging TWD 20,990 ($702 or €547) for a 32GB edition of the Padfone Infinity, while the 64GB version is available for TWS 22,990 ($769 or €599). You’ve to pay TWD 5,000 ($167; €130) to grab the tablet dock station.
On the inside, the Padfone Infinity packs a larger 5-inch Full HD display with 1080p (1080×1920 pixels) resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 60 quad-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB RAM, 13MP main camera, 4G LTE connectivity, and there’s a 2,400mAh battery to power everything. The handset runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out of the box. On the other side, the full tablet dock sports a 10.1-inch Full HD 1080p display, a front-facing snapper for video calls and a powerful battery with a capacity of 5,000mAh battery.
ePrice has confirmed that the Asus Padfone Infinity will start hitting the stores in April in Taiwan, UK and other parts of the world.
