A couple of weeks ago, Asus announced the world’s first Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor equipped tablet, Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime. We have alreay published reports about the pre-order availability of the Asus Transformer Prime tablet by Amazon and Best Buy. But, we are still awaiting for the exact release date of this tablet. We’ve a great news for the buyers of this tablet is that the manufacturer has already made it available to download the source code, manual and drivers of the Asus Transformer Prime tablet from its official website. For the most of the manufacturers, it is very difficult to release the source code of their devices on time. You can download the kernel source code, manual, utilities and USB drivers of the Asus Transformer Prime tablet from the download link provided here at below.

This release is a great deal to those of you who are looking to grab up the Transformer Prime when it’s finally released and hope for your trial on custom ROMs and tweaks to the kernel. The source code (V8.8.3.23), which is weighing 89.8MB of size, should allow for custom ROMs and tweaks to the OS, including improving battery life, which we hopefully expect soon.
Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS preinstalled Asus Transformer Prime is set to release in December with an upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to follow soon after the release moment. Expected release date could be December 8th.
