As announced earlier this month, AT&T has now officially launched the Sony Ericsson’s versatile gaming Android smartphone, the Xperia Play 4G on its airwaves, making itself only the second mobile network operator in the U.S. after Verizon to offer this phone, which launched this phone a while back during the last spring. If you are looking for an unlocked version of the phone to be operated on another GSM based network, T-Mobile, it is indeed available as well.
AT&T’s version of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play 4G will come with a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen display, Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread OS, 1GHz single-core Snapdragon MSM8255 processor with Adreno 205 GPU, 512MB RAM, 5 megapixel rear camera, an VGA front-facing camera for video chats, up to 1GB of internal memory, microSD slot that supports extension up to 32GB with an 8GB microSD card included in the pack, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, support for AT&T’s 4G HSPA+ network, a 1500mAh and more. Xperia Play 4G comes with six cool pre-installed games. You can also grab accessories like Multimedia Dock DK300, and a MC100 music cable along with the phone.
