On Tuesday, Sprint has started taking the pre-orders for its Samsung Galaxy S III handset. Following Sprint, another wireless carrier AT&T has gone live with pre-orders for its version of the 4G LTE capable Samsung Galaxy S III handset. According to AT&T, the device will stat at $199.99 for a 16GB variant on a two-year contract with the carrier. But, AT&T isn’t carrying the 32GB GSIII editions at the moment. In fact, a red edition of the Galaxy S III is coming to AT&T in the near future. AT&T has yet to announce an actual launch date of the device.
AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy S III looks identical to the international version and other U.S. versions. The device packs a 4.8″ 720p Super AMOLED HD display, Gorilla Glass 2, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.0.x Ice Cream Sandwich OS, 2100mAh battery and more.
