Best Buy Mobile has announced another ‘Free Phone Friday’ campaign, but this time the big box retailer has added another day to this promotion, and it will run until Saturday, April 30th. Best Buy Mobile has started its first ‘Free Phone Friday’ promotion last year, and offered four free smartphones on each Friday throughout the month of October, 2010.
During this campaign, Best Buy Mobile will offer three smartphones form three different carriers – AT&T branded Samsung Captivate, Sprint branded BlackBerry Curve 3G and Verizon branded Samsung Fascinate.
All these three smartphones come with a new or upgraded activation and two-year contracts to be signed with the carriers.
Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate comes with a large 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED screen, a 1GHz processor and the Android 2.1 operating system (you have Android 2.2 Froyo update at present). The camera is 5MP with option for 720p HD video recording at 30 frames per second. Other goodies include 3G, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, HD video playback, Android Market and more.
BlackBerry Curve 3G comes with BlackBerry 6 OS, sporting a 2.4” TFT display, 624MHz CPU, supports 3G (HSDPA) networks around the world, equipped with 2MP camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, micro-SD slot for 32GB memory expansion. powered by 1150mAH battery.
