In December, last year, we had found a mysterious full QWERTY keyboard BlackBerry smartphone sitting together with BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry X10 smartphones. The unknown device is expected to be the Dev Alpha C, a BlackBerry 10 smartphone with a physical QWERTY keyboard which was revealed by RIM back in November. This smartphone is only for developers who are looking to test their BlackBerry 10 apps.
According to RIM spokesperson Victoria Berry, they will start distributing the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha C with a physical QWERTY keyboard to developers after the January 30 announcement of Blackberry 10 operating system. The Software Developer Kit (SDK) will also be made available to developers after the announcement.
The BlackBerry Z10, a full touch phone may come with a resolution of 768 x 1280 (aspect ratio, 16:9) while the Qwerty BlackBerry X10 is expected to come with a resolution of 720 x 720 (aspect ratio, 1.1). Hence the difference in resolution of the BlackBerry 10 devices. Therefore, there is always a need for some change to be made by the developers for their Apps such as Games.
You can note that back in December, an unknown BlackBerry smartphone with AT&T’s LTE and GSM bands on board, had also been approved by FCC and it is expected to be either BlackBerry X10, Z10 or the mysterious Dev Alpha C smartphone.
